Titanic
I am currently exploring the Titanic dataset because it’s more than just numbers—it’s a story of survival, luck, and human patterns. By analyzing who survived and who didn’t, I get to experiment with predictive models, uncover hidden trends, and see how different factors—like age, class, and gender—played a role. It’s a perfect playground for learning, visualizing data, and sharpening my analytical skills, all while connecting the numbers to a real historical event.
The sets that I am using for this analysis can be found here: Titanic Dataset and here: Titanic Locations. The Titanic Locations data set is a small set of data that can be added to your model to improve the class and port locations of the main set but are not required to explore the data in full.
The initial exploration of the dataset offers a high-level view of the underlying values. This first pass establishes a general snapshot, while subsequent measures and metrics will be introduced to support deeper exploratory analysis of the model.
