About Me
Naturally curious and observant, I’ve spent a lifetime frustrating teachers and colleagues with my tendency to always ask why things work the way they do. I’ve never been satisfied with the “because that’s how it is.” answer. For me, not understanding how something works, the why it works, creates an itch that won’t go away until I’ve broken it down and figured it out step by step. I approach my work with the mentality that if I’m going to have to explain it to someone someday, I better know exactly how it works.
I enjoy solving problems, uncovering gaps in processes, and creating clear documentation to make workflows more efficient. I take pride in identifying bottlenecks before they become issues, streamlining complex tasks, and translating technical details into easy-to-understand concepts. Whether it’s improving a reporting pipeline, designing a dashboard, or standardizing procedures, my goal is to make data and processes accessible, reliable, and actionable for anyone who relies on them.
In truth, nothing is more satisfying than hearing, “I have a problem with...” The moment that is spoken, I sit up straighter in my chair, the wheels start turning, and I switch into problem-solving mode. Even if I am told that it is a problem for another day, I’ve already started mapping out solutions in my head and mentally drafting the steps I’d take to tackle it.
